dermabrasionDermabrasion is a method for the treatment for skin where a wheel is used for removing the outer most covering which is exposed and damaged. The effect of this treatment is such that the look and texture of the skin changes to a much greater extent.  The development of this treatment took place due to many reasons which includes scars, acne, wrinkles, and discolouration of the skin, pimples and some other types of skin abnormalities. All of these skin problems can be treated effectively by the use of dermabrasion.

Not simply this Dermabrasion is used for the treatment of various chronic skin conditions. One of it is rhinophyma. This problem is basically related to rosacea which is an affected condition of the nose. Various cases have been found where this particular problem can be treated by Dermabrasion treatment.

Dermabrasion can heal the problem effectively from within but cannot remove the scars and spots completely. It has been found that even after under going a treatment the problem might get cured but the appearance remains almost similar. It might not be true is many cases as there most of the imprints of the disease get vanished quite properly.

Most of the time this technique is used along with the some other forms of operation methods like plastic surgery, punch grafting, and carbon dioxide laser treatment etc. It is very much used for treating most of the problems related to skin.

Accurate procedure for Dermabrasion:

Mechanical methods are for treating the skin and making it much softer and smoother. The layer of the skin which is affected is removed using modern electrical equipments. Peeling is done on the skin using chemicals due to which the outer most layers which is suffering from acne, scars and burns starts disappearing. It might not be so effective to eliminate the impressions properly but still the effect is such that you will not be able to find slightest difference even.

The process starts by the application of dermabrasion right after the application of peeling over the surface of the skin. This helps in penetrating deeply inside the pores and veins of the skin which are actually infected.

When the acne and pimples affect the skin it appears as if their reaction is only on the outer most layer of the skin but the fact is they have the tendency to penetrate deeply inside which is between 3 to 4 mm. This is generally the case with people who have oily skin. Dermabrasion is the best healing solution in the cases of these types.

Dermabrasion is found to be an effective treatment for the face and not the entire body. You cannot use this treatment on any part of your body. You need to be specific while using it anywhere especially around the eyelids as the skin is so delicate that the treatment may worsen the situation instead of treating. The process of this treatment would continue for around 1 hour and 30mnutes. But the time may vary according to the area on which it is being used and also in cases where the problem is even more severe. The effect and way of using would also depend on the age of the person, texture and colour of the skin of the person concerned.

Some or the other types of side effects are always there in every kind of treatment. A common side effect of this treatment is changes in the colour of the skin. It might get lighter or darker. Some other ones are creating of scars, skin redness, internal infections, small spots on the face, pigmentation changes etc. Thought they might disappear within a few days.

Use water based methods of dressing and covering the wound created during the treatment. Repeat it for some days like for at least 5-6days and change the bandage everyday.  You’ll be able to treat your problem within a few days only.

The result for Dermabrasion has been detected in many cases which is improvement in the colour and appearance of the skin.
