Sometimes you want to liven up your house and you just do not know how. You have so many things but there is no correct place for anything. If you are having friends over and are stuck in this kind of a situation simply get some real flowers.
Real flowers are beautiful, they make your house smell nice and look pretty wherever you put them. If you are really bad at decorating order a readymade arrangement from a florist that you can display in the house. If you are good at it get the flowers and do it yourself. Stick to light colors. They give a warm effect.
Decorate your table by simply scattering the leaves all around the table and at each person’s place mat keep a flat flower; face up on the side. Yellow would be a nice color for this. In case you are putting a vase make sure the flowers are short stemmed as they should not block the peoples view on the table. Even sprinkling rose petals all around the table would look lovely.
If you do not have pretty vases then bring out some glass jars and tall glasses and bottles. Wrap them with a piece of ribbon of paint them and they can transform into beautiful flowers. When you are calling people it would look lovely to decorate the outside of your home a bit. And what better than to do it with flowers. Cot the stems of the flowers and you can put the flowers alternately with leaves in a row. Carnations look very good when put out like this.
There are so many flowers you can choose from and almost anything you get will look good as flowers in general brighten up the entire house. Also keep a small bunch of flowers by the bedside. A small readymade bouquet will do. The bathroom is another place you could keep a very small bouquet of flowers.
Make sure your flowers are fresh for the day of your party and should also last for at least a week after that. You could also give away some stems to your guests when they leave. Your well decorated house with flowers is sure to be a grand hit.
