    Cure In Your Kitchen

    herbal-remediesIn this modern age, we are very much dependent on drugs for each and every need. Modern methods of treatment are very expensive and invasive. Nature has gifted us with rich reservoirs of natural resources, and there are innumerable spices and herbs available in our kitchen, which have the potential to cure many health problems and disease successfully, even some old and chronic ones.

    Ginger

    Ginger is used in our food to give aromatic odor and spicy taste. It can be used to treat cough and colds, nausea, chest problems, vomiting, toothaches, indigestion, heart burn, dyspepsia, stomach ache, constipation, loss of appetite in jaundice, diarrhea, constipation, kidney problems, arthritis and allergic rashes.

    Cinnamon

    Cinnamon is antiseptic, as is used as a stimulant, carminative and astringent. It is use to cure throat problems, severe headache, acne, diarrhea and swelling due to inflammation.

    Garlic

    Garlic contains cholesterol lowering properties. Half teaspoon of garlic powder along with 2-3 cloves, every morning is very effective for lowering cholesterol.

    Mustard

    Mustard has the power to stimulate. It is used to treat pneumonia, bronchitis and other disease related to respiratory disorder. It is effectively used to massage and cure pain in different parts of the body especially for the patients of rheumatism.

    Cloves

    Cloves used in our kitchen, contains natural oils which are used for medicinal purpose. Clove powder can treat fever, tooth ache, morning sickness in pregnancy, cough and cold, and chest pain. It helps to digest food as well.

    Holy Basil

    Holy Basils are used for variety of ailments. Its aromatic leaves have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. They can relieve pain, clear congestion in chest and serve as an effective remedy for cholera, sore throat, cough, vomiting, pimples and hypertension.

    Mint

    Mint relieves indigestion and hiccups. It is used to treat fevers, dizziness, hyperacidity, irritable bowel syndrome, muscle strain and sprain, nausea and vomiting. Herbal tooth powder essentially contains mint.

    Cardamom

    Seeds of cardamom are used in our kitchen to add flavor to foods. It is a remedy to indigestion, fever, vomiting, nausea, heart burn, diarrhea and jaundice.

    There are a wide variety of herbs and spices which can treat many serious diseases and keep us hail and hearty, without the need to spend a lot on our medical bills. The herbs and spices mentioned above are just a few of them.
