Computer Hardware Trouble Shooting Tips
With most of the people working 9 to 5 at their jobs and most of their jobs involving those of sitting in front of their computer screens, something which can be even more frustrating than all this is the malfunctioning of the computer hardware. Here are some easy tips to help you repair your computer hardware.
Monitor: Monitor is the basic requirement of your system. Without the monitor you are unable to see what you have been doing all this while. In case you find that the monitor is not working, firstly check the very common thing which most of the people usually ignore. Check if the monitor has been turned or not by pressing the on/off button. After doing this, find out if the cable connecting the monitor to the CPU is connected properly or not. After all these steps, make sure that the wire from the CPU is connected to the UPS. Check properly that all the chords are connected at their right places. Even if after all this the monitor doesn’t start working, call a technician to rectify it.
Keyboard: Without the keyboard, the computer turns out to be a just a multimedia source where you can only view files but not write or rectify them. Take care of your keyboard by keeping it away from dust and dirt. In case it doesn’t work, check that the wire from the keyboard is connected well to the CPU. If still it doesn’t work, try connecting the wire to another port. In case you have a wireless keyboard, pay special attention to check if the drivers have been installed in your monitor or not and whether they are updated regularly. Keep your keyboard clean, you can also use a vacuum cleaner for this purpose.
Mouse: In case your mouse is not working properly, check for dust on the trackball and clean it. Run your antivirus software and clean if any virus is present in your computer. Unplug the mouse wire and plug it again.
