    Choosing the Right Food to Avoid Arthritis Pain

    arthritis2More than half of the population of the world over the age of 50 years suffers from arthritis pain. It is caused mainly due to an inflammatory condition that occurs due to the usual wear and tear process of the human body.

    However, many people also suffer from arthritis pain due to some kind of imbalance in the other body parts. Irrespective of the reason, the important thing is to get relief from the pain as well as prevent further deterioration of the muscles and joints.

    In the beginning, most of the patients treat the arthritis pain with painkillers along with following a regular exercise regime. However, arthritis pain can also be avoided by providing nutritional support to the body which can be obtained by consuming the right diet. In order to avoid the arthritis pain, it is important to eliminate all triggers that can lead to arthritis pain from your diet, as well as include anti-inflammatory food in your daily diet. Besides this, one can also take the help of various proven supplements that can be helpful.

    Elimination of triggers from diet

    Triggers of the arthritis pain vary from one person to the other. This means if wheat triggers arthritis pain in one person, it does not mean that it will affect all arthritic patients. However, some of the common triggers include alcohol, tomatoes, wheat, soya products, dairy products, sugar, coffee, potatoes and processed meat. Besides this, common problem food products like excess salt, hydrogenated fats, saturated fats, caffeine, refined sugar and food colorants and additives should also be avoided. The ideal diet for avoiding arthritis pain should comprise of fresh ingredients including, fresh vegetables and fruits, helpful fats and whole grains.

    Introduction of anti-inflammatory food

    Some of the anti-inflammatory food products are spices, herbs and cleansing food. Eating fresh pineapple, turmeric, flax, oily fish such as salmon, root vegetables, mango, papaya, cinnamon and raw nuts is often recommended to the arthritis patients. Besides this, it is beneficial for them to consume green leafy vegetables and whole grains. They should cook their food using olive oil and take anti-oxidants such as chillies and other kinds of peppers.

    Thus, choosing the right foods can help avoid arthritis pain to a great extent.
