Chocolate Delights
Chocolate is a food item which is universally liked by all. Here are a few lip smacking chocolate recipes for you.
Easy Chocolate Fudge
Butter (4 tablespoon)
Condensed milk (sweetened) 1 can
Semi bitter or semi sweet chocolate (1 pound)
A pinch of salt (optional)
Chopped nuts (¾ cup)
Grease the baking pan with butter covering the bottom and inner sides with wax paper. To melt and combine all the ingredient either use microwave on low heat or put the ingredients in a metal bowl and put the bowl over simmering water to melt the ingredients except the nuts. Mix until the mixture is well melted and combined. Then mix the nuts. Now refrigerate the mixture for at least 4/5 hours. After the fudge sets properly lift the fudge out of pan on a plate and cut into desired shapes.
Chocolate Roll
Ingredients
Condensed Milk (1 tin)
Cocoa Powder (½ cup)
Crushed Nuts (¾ cup)
Mary Biscuits crushed (1 cup)
Mix the above ingredients in a pan and then cook it on medium heat while continuously stirring it. When the mixture starts thickening and lumps starts coming up, remove it from the heat. Now make rolls in cylindrical shape before the mixture cools down. Wrap each role in silver foil. Keep the prepared rolls for half an hour in refrigerator. Chocolate rolls are ready to eat.
Chocolate Cake
Bitter Sweet Chocolate (2 bars)
Unsweetened chocolate
Unsalted butter (3 tablespoon)
Eggs (4 nos.)
Instant coffee powders mixed in hot water (2 tablespoon)
Few drops of vanilla essence
Sugar (¾ cup)
A pinch of salt
Flour (1/3 cup)
Method
Preheat the oven. Butter the cake pan and sprinkle flour at the bottom. Fix wax paper at the bottom and sides. Melt butter and chocolate in low heat. Convert the melted solution in a bigger bowl and let the mixture cool. Now blend rest of the ingredient like egg yolk, vanilla essence, coffee, sugar, flour and salt into chocolate. Beat the mixture until the batter becomes floppy. Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake it for 20 minutes. Insert a knife to find out the cake is ready or not. Turn the cake on palate when it cools down. Add whipped cream and dust some cocoa powder to give it a finishing touch.
