In order to avoid the appearance of cellulite one has to avoid all kinds of junk food and try to abstain oneself from alcohol, coffee and smoke. It helps to remove the toxins from the body, especially the liver and the heart. One should have a healthy and balanced diet, which includes all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. This gives the required need of vitamins, fiber and minerals to the body.
Exercising can be a very effective remedy in treating cellulite, one has to remember that while exercising one has to remember to put focus on the thighs, stomach, buttocks and the upper arms. These exercises when followed everyday along with a good diet have known to lessen the appearance of cellulite and smoothen the existing ones.
Cellulite can be avoided by reducing the salt intake; salt increases the water retention in the body. Make a paste of an herbal body lotion and coffee powder, mix them together and apply it on all the affected areas of the body like the thighs, hips and upper arms. Let the paste dry and then wash it with water.
You can also make a nice tea to treat cellulite. This will include taking one part of cleavers, poke root and two parts of Echinacea. Pour some boiling water over the herbs and let it stand for at least five minutes, let the herbs infuse in the water. Strain off the water and have this cup of tea at least thrice a day.
Caffeine is very useful while treating cellulite, though it is restricted internally while following a cellulite diet. It can be very effective when applied to the body externally. After your coffee is brewed you can used the grounds of the coffee to massage the cellulite affected area. At times you can even cover the affected area after the massage with cellophane. Let the coffee ground soak into the skin. At times if the coffee grounds are abrasive to the body then one can add a few drops of vegetable oil into the paste.
Massage is one of the best ways to get rid of cellulite, one should remember to massage from top to bottom, massage each of the affected area for a few minutes before proceeding further. Massaging the affected area will increase its blood circulation and also make the skin appear smooth.
The other most integral part of the cellulite diet is to have at least eight to ten glasses of water everyday as this will help in washing away the harmful toxins from the body.
