Blepharoplasty can be also known as eyelid surgery. It comes into the categories of most famous cosmetic surgeries. It is nothing but a treatment which helps in the removal of excess of tissues on the eyelids. It is a sign of ageing resulting in tiredness and sad situation.

Basically Blepharoplasty is known as a procedure being used for the removal of extra fats from the area covering the eyes. It is usually the excess part of skin and muscles which is covered from the area of lower and upper part of the eyelids. This can lift drooping upper lids and can reduce the puffiness in the eye bags that are formed below the eyes.

There may be some problem like swelling etc which are commonly detected in both the portions of the eyes upper and the lower. As this problem can be continued for seven to ten days or sometimes it may also stretches up to fifteen days. There is no need of using bandages.

Do not worry about the bleeding and infection because they are very often caused. Some people advice the patients for wearing lenses when they have gone through with a successful eye operation but he/she can use the contact lens after seven or eight days of operation. You can also use some of the makeup techniques for camouflage the eye structure. After the operation swelling always occurs due to which excess amount of tear formed.
