    Benefits of Drinking Juices

    42-18516360We are always advised by nutritionists and dieticians to drink lot of juices. Though they do not suggest only drinking juice of all the vegetables and fruit that you consume. They advise us to drink juices regularly along with our intake of fruits and vegetables. Here are the reasons why we should make and take juice.

    •    Improves Digestion

    As most of us are not so particular about our food choice and do not maintain a healthy balanced diet, our bodies become weak in digesting nutrients we need for a healthy body. Pre-digestion of food is possible with juicing. Out body absorbs it and gets eliminated quickly.

    •    Juicing Helps To Obtain Required Nutrients Easily

    Our body needs one or two pounds of fruits to fulfill the require amount of nutrients for optimal health.  Consumption of this much fruit can make you sick of eating fruits. While juicing you can take the required amount and there remains no chance of developing dislike for certain fruits or vegetable.

    •    Indigestible fibers are removed

    Juicing removes indigestible fiber. For example, while eating a raw carrot we can assimilate only 1% of beta-carotene but when we drink carrot juice we assimilate 100% beta-carotene.

    •    Easily digestible

    Any solid food we consume requires few hours to digest. While any juice we drink, is digested within 15 minutes of its consumption. As juices are in liquid form, our digestive system does not have to waste enzymes to get it digested. So the body is able to quickly distribute the enzymes to other parts where they are much needed to heal and repair.

    •    Juice Cleanses

    We can consume sufficient amount of fruit only through juicing to get required amount of nutrients. Juices can cleanse the blood.  With clean blood and the body fed with essential nutrients we can certainly lead a healthier and longer life.

    As different fruits and vegetables provide different vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, take variety of fruits and vegetables in rotation, like apple, carrot, guava, watermelon, beetroot, orange, pineapple, pomegranate, grapes etc.
