Beat the Stress
Are you sweating in excess? Do you often feel that your heart is pounding? May be you are under great stress. Stress is a product of unhealthy lifestyle. Stress can bring out several changes in the body. It causes adrenalin rushes that change the normal pulse rate of your heart.
Stress can also increase your breathing rate. These changes in your breathing and pulse can result in blood pressure variation.
Besides making you exhausted and drained of energy, stress can also bring back pain and sleeplessness. It can trigger digestive disorders such as loss of appetite, acidity, diarrhea, nausea etc. Stress can cause excessive sweating. It can decrease the immunity of the body and can cause heart diseases, diabetes and even cancer.
Excess stress can cause irregular menstruation and even absence of menstruation in young girls and women. It can become the prime reason for infertility as well. Stress can also trigger hormonal imbalances making you susceptible to various diseases.
Reduce Stress
To reduce stress you need to bring your body back to equilibrium by following a balanced diet. A balanced diet along with regular exercises can help you to restore your health. A healthy mind can reside only in a healthy body.
If you have loss of appetite or indigestion, you need to cure it. Raw vegetable salads consisting of carrots, tomatoes, leafy greens and pepper can cure these digestive disorders. Once you regain your appetite follow a healthy diet chart that consists of unpolished cereals, lots of vegetables and fruits.
A nutritious diet will help to rebalance your hormones as well as bring in good health. Give proper rest to your body. You need a good sleep of 7 – 8 hours to keep your thoughts as well as mind afresh. Avoid taking naps during the day time since this can leave you sleepless and irritated.
Avoid or restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks, sugar, alcohol and white flour since these can only aggravate your condition. Daily intake of three liters of water will keep your body well hydrated.
Regular exercises can keep your body and mind healthy. Practice deep breathing exercises and meditation which will help you to de-stress and calm your mind. Be in the company of your friends which will make you energetic. Also, try to indulge in games like puzzles, playing chess, Sudoku etc. to keep your mind active and fresh.
