It can be used in many things and from them some are common and some are uncommon. This is a versatile product and thus there are a lot of uses of foil. Some of the uses are mentioned below:
Uses of Aluminum Foil
Aluminum foil is used to line up pans as it is helpful in cleaning after the pan used for baking. It also helps to make the food warm for longer time as compare to paper tissue. Not for this, it can also be used in many things in the kitchen.
This is also used to store foods as you can wrap the leftover food in aluminum foil and keep it in refrigerator for longer time. This can preserve the food for longer time. The food also seems fresh if wrapped in aluminum foil.
The aluminum foil can help you to keep the scissors sharp. You can cut about 6-7 layers of foil and rub it over the cutting surface of scissors. It will help to maintain the sharpness and make it rust free.
You can also use foil to make your soap last longer. Take a piece of foil and wrap it around the bottom of bar. It will make it long lasting. You can also wrap your gold and silver jewelry in foil and leave it in saline water over night. Next morning, you will get the shinning jewelry.
Along with kitchen uses there are also some uses of foil. Many of the house decorators and the craft artists use this silver paper for decorating different items. The foil can be used as the base if you are going to make a photo frame.
Drawbacks of Aluminum Foil
You needn’t to wrap the acidic foods in foil as acid from the food can be dissolve the surface of the foil and can cause some amount of aluminum to migrate in food. It can then make a metallic taste which is not only good fro tongue but also bad for health.
The use of aluminum foil is convenient in baking pans used in oven but don’t use them in microwave. It can give way to health problem if the level of aluminum leeches in the food.
