Ageing in Women
As you get older you will feel your body changing. These changes may also upset you and you may not be able to actually do anything about these changes as they are all a part of the ageing process and all women have to go through it.
By the time you cross the age of fifty you will find that your eyes may seem drier. This is more so if you wear contact lenses. You may also find your eyes feeling more itchy. This is because with age your tear ducts do not function as well as they used to and you will also find that your sleep is quite disturbed and you may feel tired and develop bags under the eyes. To combat this try taking a hot bath before going to bed as that will relax you.
As you age you will find that your hair is not s thick and healthy as it used to be and you may find some growth of facial hair growing on the chin area. Try cutting your hair short to add to the volume and do pull out the facial hair. Wrinkles are bound to start appearing on your face due to the hormonal changes taking place in your body and you may find that your face appears quite dry. Make sure you use a good moisturizer to keep your skin well lubricated and hydrated.
As you age your estrogen level drops and due to that you will experience vaginal dryness and may tend to feel itchy in that area. You can deal with this by using vaginal tablets to ease the discomfort. Avoid the use of soaps in that area. Just as the estrogen level drops so does the level of calcium level. This makes women in the later years more prone to osteoporosis. Make sure you eat foods that are rich in calcium and try taking calcium supplements as well. With all these changes taking place in your body make sure you exercise to stay fit.
A woman may also begin to experience hot flashes and mood swings as age catches up on her. This is part and parcel of ageing. So try and accept it in a positive way and you will age gracefully.
