skinrevu1It is not always necessary that aging skin will be idetified with wrinkles only. There are a different ways through which our body reminds us of our growing age. These inlcude sun damamged skin, which can be in the shape of wrinkles or blemishes. Fine lines around the eyes and the lips, enlarged pores and sagging facial skin. There is a problem of the skin’s  losing its elasticity and with age there is a decrease in the healing abilities of the skin.

There has been no one cause that can attributed to aging skin. There can be various reasons that can lead to the apperance of aging on the skin. These include cell wear and tear by either environmental factors or lifestyle of the individual. Aging can appear on the skin with the help of DNA damage. Hormonal changes, changes itn eh immunity and the presence of free radicals in the skin can lead to aging.

Though there are a variety of different products available over the counter today to counter each and every one of the above stated problem but in this article we tell you some of the small ways through which the aging skin can be taken care of and to some extent even averted till a later time.

Everytime you choose a product always remember to read the label. The product should suit your skin type and should contain at least one anti aging component in the right proportion. It can contain glycolic acid that can be anywhere between 8 percent to 15 per cent. The other prime conctituent of an anti aging product is Vitamin A retinol, the drug cannnot exceed a concentration of more than one per cent.

In addition to this the product has to contain a good anti oxidant, which will help the skin in regeneration. one of the most effective anti oxidants is Vitamin C. The most commonly used Vitamin C component used in creams are Ester, this helps the skin from further damage and also has excellent healing abilities.

If the product contains a vitmain K product then this can help to improve the dark circles from under the eyes as very well. It can also reduce the redness of the broken capaliiaries, which gives the skin a red apperance. An product with DMAE can help to make the skin firm. You can even use Hydroquinone in a concentration of one per cent to two per cent, this will help to bleach those age spots from the skin.

The retinol and the alpha hydroxy acids are very useful in treating aging skin. It exfoliates the dead skin, stimulates the cell repair. It also help in stimulating the growth of collagen production and actively helps in decreasing the enlarged pores.

You have to be carefully in choosing the product that will cater to your needs well. There are a lot of combinations available in the market today and it is to suit every individual need. You should always test the product before buying to see it will suit you or not. Olive oil products can also be a good component for dry and aging skin as this will prevent the formation of wrinkles.

There are some researchers who say that if you can keep your face in pineapple juice for about 30 seconds then it can make your skin look younger. This has to be done everyday.

If the anti aging creams do not work on your skin. Then you can use the other options as well, these include chemical peel. This process uses agents like alpha hydroxy fruit acids. The most commonly used acis is alpha hydroxy acid better known as AHA.

You can also opt for laser surfacing. This process uses a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser that is used to remove the area of damaged and wrinkled skin. This also effectively treats facial scars and uneven pigmentation.
